Configuration

Travel variant How travel commerce is structured. B integrates booking on padi.com (the research pick); A separates it to the PADI Travel domain.

Auth state PADI Club & Certification Cards behave differently when signed in. Tapping “Sign in / out” in the menu also flips this.

Language Switches the whole menu. Arabic flips the layout to right-to-left.

How each item is supported

RV — Research-validated. Supported by all three card-sort studies.

PS — Partial support. Two of the three audiences agree.

DR — Design recommendation. Data was insufficient; design judgement carries the call.

Annotations on menu Overlay the evidence tags and the supporting note under each item, across every level. Hidden by default so the structure reads first.

CHOSEN OVER ACCORDION.
The IA has 3 real levels (Pro Pathway, Course → Activity/Level). Push navigation keeps every level to one 375px screen with a clear back affordance, rather than an endlessly expanding accordion.

PROTOTYPE SCOPE: navigation chrome only — opening/closing, drilling between levels, and surfacing each destination with its evidence tag. Destination pages are out of scope. Built from the §05–06 menu specification of the IA synthesis. Strictly mobile-first (375px); desktop would be the enhancement layer.
